Recently I became involved in the Property Industry Foundation which has become a fulfilling and inspiring part of my life.  The foundation raises funds and awareness for Australian children who are homeless and living in poverty.

A particularly exciting aspect of working with this life-changing charity was preparing for the annual Charity Ball, “Cirque de Souk” at Luna Park which was held on October 28, 2011.

The night was absolutely spectacular and somewhat magical!  This important fundraising event raised funds for the construction of “PIF House” which will accommodate young people entering their employment program ‘Rebuild a Young Life’, alongside the Salvation Army Oasis ‘Get Skilled for Work’ program.

I was a member of a great team of people who constructed and painted the backdrops and props. Additionally I sold $7000 worth of raffle tickets on the night.  I worked with the most admirable people who are now great friends.  A remarkable charity!
