Neutral Bay Wharf Re-Opens

Neutral Bay Wharf is part of the Sydney Harbour Wharf Upgrade Program involving the refurbishment and providing disabled access for up to 12 wharves in the first stage of the program.

Neutral Bay upgrade involved the complete replacement of the existing infrastructure including a new concrete jetty, a covered gangway and a new pontoon with passenger facilities such as seating, glass screens and timetable information.

The total cost for providing Neutral Bay Wharf was in the order of $8.5 million, and has followed on from the successful refurbishment of the Milsons Point Wharf (Luna Park). This upgrade has been part of the $770 million “Transport Access Program” undertaken and provided by the NSW Government.

Thanks go to the project team here at GSA, Sasha Jovanovic and Wayne Krygsman, for their continued efforts in delivering a very well received design outcome for this wharf and for those to come in the future.
