EAGLE FARM QLD
Lot 113 is the last remaining site in the highly successful Hamilton Reach masterplanned development. Located on the Brisbane River, the scheme provides 230 units in two buildings that are conceived as pavilions placed on a landscaped public plaza. Careful placement of the buildings creates setbacks to the street forming variation and a strong urban form at the “bookends” of the buildings.
The bookend approach creates the opportunity for a series of unique apartment layouts at both ends of the buildings. Punctuating the plaza building’s centre is the main entry leading into a double height space that is a beautiful shaded cool space, with open balcony meeting places. The design of the building’s exterior draws on the rich built and natural palette of Hamilton Reach – blue greys of the river, earthy tones from the river’s edge and bright clear whites and dark greys of the built forms.
