The design draws upon the unique opportunities of the masterplan and extensive surrounding landscaping, to derive its distinctive sense of place and create a personal haven.

The scheme connects to the landscaped context and adjacent stand of significant trees, drawing it into our site and extending and linking it to the rest of the masterplan. This becomes both a gateway and a transition site, creating a rich pedestrian experience, closely connected with nature.

The development occupies a key corner location on Rosebery Avenue, comprising 239 apartments, spread across an assemblage of three buildings, including an existing ten-storey commercial tower, retained and adapted for residential use.

At the heart of the scheme is a landscaped courtyard. Conceived as a communal meeting place, this active space is intensified by a folded ground plane that opens up to a pool and gymnasium in the basement. The resultant double-storeyed landscaped public realm is at once urban in character, yet a place for tranquil respite.
