Liverpool City Council’s new workplace has set a fresh benchmark for sustainable civic offices while strengthening the region’s economic and social heartbeat.

GroupGSA were engaged by Liverpool City Council to shape a modern, flexible environment that supports high performance and builds stronger connections with the community.

The new office and library at 52 Scott Street now provides Council with a future-focused home for 460 staff within Liverpool Civic Place. Council occupies about 6,000sqm across five floors in the 13,000sqm commercial building.

The fitout meets 5 Star Green Star requirements along with 5 Star NABERS Water and 5 Star NABERS Energy targets. These achievements position Council as a leader in sustainable operations.

The civic centre also includes a 60 place childcare facility that supports Council employees and contributes to a more accessible and family friendly precinct.
