Cherrybrook Town Centre
The proposed mixed-use development is located on Brookhollow Avenue within Norwest’s thriving business precinct, zoned SP4 Enterprise. Just 400 metres from Norwest Metro Station, the site benefits from convenient access to key local services, retail offerings, and recreational spaces.
The development comprises of two towers, ten and six storeys, linked by a striking four-storey glazed atrium. Designed to accommodate diverse functions, it includes active retail frontages, a gym, child-care centre, commercial office space, and a hotel. This integration of uses supports a dynamic and interconnected precinct, contributing positively to the local urban fabric.
The building form aligns with the desired future character of the area and exceeds the standards of the site-specific Development Control Plan (DCP). The design activates the ground level with a through-site link connecting Brookhollow Avenue to North Fairmont Reserve, enhancing public access and site permeability.
The Brookhollow frontage features a café and gym at street level, complemented by an amphitheatre, terraced landscaping, and public seating that mediate level changes and promote community use. The eastern six-storey wing houses the gym and child-care centre, positioned for accessibility and compliance with rear boundary setbacks. The hotel occupies the eastern wing, while commercial offices are located in the western tower.
The central atrium acts as an active, publicly accessible space that supports vertical circulation and social engagement. Landscaped elements within the atrium and rooftop terraces blend indoor and outdoor environments, contribute to the urban tree canopy, and soften the development’s visual impact.
