The aim of the project was to provide high quality, managed accommodation that is convenient to UTS and University of Sydney, handy to transport and well located for recreation and other services. This will benefit the economic, social and safety prospects of the local community.

The building provides high levels of natural light with passive shading designed in response to environmental conditions, and ventilation to the apartments, with external recreation space at ground level.

The materiality of brick and rendered masonry is a response to the mixed context of heritage buildings with existing older industrial and newer residential.
