We’re proud to share that two of our projects have been recognised for design excellence at the 2025 Australian Institute of Architects (AIA) NSW Chapter Awards.
Lord Mayor’s Prize
Rosebery Engine Yards
Client: Goodman
Interior Architecture Award
Moxy Sydney Airport
Client: Corval + KS Hotels & Resorts
These awards testify to the strength of creative partnerships and thoughtful design. With 284 entries judged by 37 jurors across 137 site visits, the recognition is meaningful for our teams and collaborators.
Rosebery Engine Yards
Celebrated for its imaginative commitment to heritage, sustainability and urban vitality.
The Jury described the project as:
“A wonderful, welcoming urban experience with a sense of industrial discovery.”
Originally a collection of early 20th-century brick factories and sheds, Rosebery Engine Yards has been respectfully adapted into a dynamic urban precinct. Through careful repair and considered design, the fabric of these historic buildings has been opened up and brought to life, creating a cohesive environment that blends work, culture and community.
The Guardian highlights the project’s success lies in restraint and craftsmanship. It’s not about bold statements, but about elevating what was already there, with respect, resourcefulness and care.

Moxy Sydney Airport
A new benchmark for community-driven, contemporary travel design
This project reflects the power of collaboration. We led the architecture, urban design and local interiors in close partnership with MAED Collective, delivering a bold, connected, and culturally attuned hotel.
Moxy Sydney Airport speaks to the spirit of today’s traveller—social, design-aware and experience-led. Its layered, context-driven approach responds directly to its urban setting while setting a new standard for lifestyle accommodation.

Leading with Impact
This year’s awards recognise more than design—they celebrate architecture’s role in shaping sustainable, inclusive and connected futures.
As Jury Chair Annabel Lahz said,
“This year’s awarded projects highlight the breadth of the profession and its positive impact on everyday life.”
Elizabeth Carpenter, NSW Chapter President, added:
“Architecture is both an art and a responsibility. These projects show how we can lead with care, innovation and purpose.”
We’re honoured to see our work contributing to this broader impact.
We thank our teams, collaborators and clients for your shared vision.
