HR & Operations Specialist

Location: Sydney CBD | Job Type: Full-Time | Workplace Type: Flexible

The Role

We’re seeking a motivated HR & Operations Specialist who’s ready to step into a broad, high-impact role and work closely with our Director of People, Culture & Practice.

This is not a traditional coordination role. It’s a chance to contribute to how a leading design practice works, feels and performs. You will be part of the team to create a streamlined workplace, elevating employee experience, and supporting the operational strength of our studios.

What You Will Do

Human Resources

— Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding with a focus on candidate and employee experience
— Draft employment contracts and provide policy advice across all levels
— Drive HR administration, maintain compliance, and support workforce planning
— Partner on performance, development, and culture initiatives
— Administer HR systems, contracts, policies, and reporting

Operations & Culture

— Oversee day-to-day office operations and liaise with vendors, IT support, and building management
— Coordinate workplace projects, system improvements, and space planning
— Manage office infrastructure, subscriptions, and corporate service delivery
— Lead internal events, team experiences, and culture-building activities
— Support WH&S programs and employee wellbeing efforts

What You Will Bring

— Tertiary qualifications in HR or Business (or equivalent hands-on experience)
— 3–5 years’ experience in HR coordination, office management, or business operations
— A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to work autonomously
— Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all levels
— Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort using HRIS or cloud-based systems

Bid Specialist

Location: Sydney CBD | Job Type: Full-Time | Workplace Type: Flexible

The Role

The ideal candidate will have experience and shown capability in a similar role, have excellent attention to detail, well-developed communication skills, and most importantly a positive attitude

What You Will Do

— Coordinating, researching, writing, and producing a high volume of submissions/Proposals independently and collaboratively.
— Supporting marketing activities, marketing materials, promotional material, advertising, website, social media, and functions for studio.
— Work with the Group Marketing & Bids Manager on continued developmental feedback and exploring ways to continually raise the bar on expectations and performance, both operationally in-house and bid production quality.

What You Will Bring

— Experience in the production of a range of bid materials in the form of proposals, presentations, clarifications, and communication (including but not limited to Capability Profiles, IRT, EOI, Fee Proposals, RFQ, RFP, RFT, Prerequisites, Panels etc).
— Advanced/Proficient in InDesign.
— Ability to work collaboratively & autonomously.
— Ability to plan, prioritise tasks and implement direction and feedback to meet deadlines and executive expectations.

To be suitable for this role, you will have the following:

— Preferred experience in InDesign
— Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
— Proficient in Microsoft Office
— Demonstrated experience in production capability across a range of software.
— Hands-on experience in a similar role.
— Ability to write and edit copy provided by design teams
