Describe your career journey:

I graduated from the University of Sydney in 2020 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and Environments.  In 2021 I began my role at GroupGSA – my first industry position as a Graduate Urban Designer, I have since been promoted to Urban Designer.

What do you enjoy most about working at GroupGSA?

I like that no two days are the same, the diversity of my work is engaging and challenging. I work on projects of all size and scale, from inner-city urban master plans to regional town developments. Throughout my degree I developed strong analytical and graphical skills, I love that I get to use and build on these every day.

Why are you passionate about Urban Design?

I’m really fascinated by how towns and cities of all scales are reflective of their society. As an Urban Designer I have the opportunity to advocate for public interest, by creating welcoming places that connect people and keep them coming back to a space. I love that my work allows me to shape neighborhoods, town centres and cities for community benefit.

Describe one project you are currently working on and what your responsibility is?

I’m currently working on a masterplan for a medium density residential development within a commercial town centre. I am plotting the site structure plan and laying out roads, buildings, heights, and open space.
