I joined GroupGSA in 2021 as a part-time student designer whilst studying a double degree in Interior Architecture and Arts in International Studies. In 2022 I was hired as a full time graduate designer and began taking ownership across more projects. Over the past year, the Sydney Interior Design team have supported my career progression and given me multiple opportunities to grow. My strong work ethic, attention to detail and a love of learning has since led to my promotion to Interior Designer. I now support our newer graduates through the design process, am gaining more visibility to a wider range of projects and improving my skill set and industry knowledge every day.
One of the things I enjoy most about working at GGSA is the culture within the Interiors team. It is such a supportive, fun and hard-working group of people that have allowed and encouraged me to flourish as an Interior Designer. In my two years at GGSA I have learnt so much from my peers and am excited to continue learning even more.
Interior design has the power to push the boundaries of how we traditionally live and work. Being able to create spaces that inspire a sense of comfort and joy, and that have the ability to connect people, build communities, and celebrate culture, is something I love about this industry.
50 Belmore Road Penrith – my role in this project was to assist in all phases of design from the concept phase to design development and the creation of a full tender documentation set. As the project enters the construction phase my role includes answering RFIs, making updates to documentation and signing off finishes.
