The main focal point of the park is a large continuous, undulating loop of net-based play (wave space) where children are challenged to swing, climb, balance and hang.
Supporting this multi-play structure are other complementary play & recreation spaces including half-court basketball, outdoor table tennis, flying fox, fitness zone and a toddler playground. The design aims to attract a broad audience from the very young to the elderly with both trees and all-weather structures providing adequate shade.
Our Cities and Places team including landscape architects, urban planners and architects – were involved from taking the concept design through to detailed design development and final tender documentation suitable for construction.
