A sustainable approach for TPG Telecom's new Barangaroo office.
TPG Telecom engaged the GroupGSA Interiors team for the design of their new office at Level 24-27, Tower 2, Barangaroo. Their goal was to unite the TPG Telecom team - formally TPG and Vodafone - in a vibrant, new business and technology hub to demonstrate their commitment to staff, assist in talent attraction and retention, and re-invigorate their culture with a dynamic workspace.
The Team:
With a focus on sustainability, TPG was conscious of making good the existing fit-out, re-purposing elements where possible, and ensuring waste was kept to a minimum.
Our workplace strategy included a detailed gap analysis, research, and stakeholder interviews to determine the best use of space, spatial planning, and unique requirements, while fully embracing the repurposing of the existing built environment and furniture.
The design maximises natural resources, local products and ethical choices including the reutilisation of much of the existing base build. Newly introduced spaces include a large custom shaped Boardroom, Tech Concierge, Wellness and Multi Faith Rooms.
Custom joinery showcases TPG’s latest telecommunication offerings in a warm and engaging environment. The centre piece is the new, highly functional and beautifully detailed boardroom.
