Clayton Business Park
GroupGSA won a competition to design a new state-of-the-art business park for Goodman Group in the Melbourne suburb of Clayton.
The project will provide Goodman Group with cutting-edge logistics facilities in an environment that inspires staff wellbeing.
The design approach for the expansive 30.9ha site was to create a business park centred around an active core that connected to the nearby rail station through a green spine. We wanted to push the envelope of what a business park could be in the 21st Century, integrating with its surrounding urban fabric and offering vibrant green spaces back to this traditionally hardscape industrial area. The design plays on the traditional forms of industrial architecture such as saw-tooth roofing and steel frames.
Design work was undertaken in 2022-2024, with Town Planning DA permit received in 2024. Goodman is considering changes to the master plan, redesign work commenced in 2025.
