A new vision for the future of the Wesley Mission Frank Vickery Village in Sylvania.

Our team of architects, urban designers, and landscape architects are working with Wesley Mission on a planning proposal for an extensive site redevelopment, incorporating a range of living options and facilities.

The Group
Client: Wesley Mission
Studios: Sydney, Australia
The Team:

The final master plan consists of five connected precincts, supported by a thorough understanding of existing conditions, sound urban design, public domain principles, and visual impact assessments from the surrounding context.

The Wesley Mission village is located at the junction of Bellingara Road and Port Hacking Road in the Sutherland Shire LGA. The 5.7 ha site aims to meet the modern needs of existing and future residents and the demand for retirement living in the Sutherland Shire.

The site is well-serviced by bus routes and is easily accessible from both Hurstville and Miranda stations. It currently includes Independent Living Units (ILUs), Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACF), affordable housing, community facilities, and a heritage cottage.

The proposed vision for the site includes an increase in density with up to 450 ILUs, a new 126-bed RACF, and additional facilities to support the community.

Due for completion in 2035.
